I can't.
I can't finish the book.
I can't get published.
I can't be an author.
I can't make a living this way.
I can't let my family down.
I can't.
Sound familiar?
Can't can be a bad thing.
But, not all the time.
Don't these sound better.
You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
You can't keep a good woman down.
You can't judge a book by its cover.
You can't blame a girl for trying.
I can't get you out of my mind.
Can't can be a good thing.
Spoken like a true Rolling Stone: You can't always get what you want. But, if you try sometimes, well you just might find, you'll get what you need.
I can't ... think of a place I would rather be.
Thank you, Alex J. Cavanaugh, for inspiring us to speak with one another once a month through The Insecure Writer's Support Group.
