So, how are you?
Did you watch the Olympics?
Are you writing or editing?
Counting down the days until school starts?
Reading your way through your TBR list?
See any good movies this summer?
Talk to me, Goose!
Packing for my son's big move to college this week. Plus I'm doing a really tough critique & trying to find time to read Jennifer Hillier's Freak.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo this month and freaking out about the fact that my son starts kindergarten soon. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteBack into editing mode...though I'm so drawn to start planning for the next book. I have a hard time multitasking. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI finally got my ms into the publisher albeit a month late. Yikes. But it had to be right in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteGood movies I have seen this summer have been "Dark KNight Rises," "Get the Gringo," "The Bourne Legacy," "The Cabin in the Woods," and many others.
You always make me smile, Heather!
ReplyDeleteAnnounced a blogfest.
In the middle of editing CassaStorm and really excited.
Not writing checks my body can't cash!
1 - I'm doing just fine.
ReplyDelete2 - Yes, i watched as much Olympics as I could. I cried at every medal ceremony and when any US athelete won. And I am in love with Oscar Pistorius now - well, maybe just love his attitude.
3 - I finished my editing job. Now waiting on the re-writes!!!
4 - Working through WoT series - on #6 atm.
5 - Took Em to see Katy Perry (she's so cute!) and Dark Knight Rises. The only two movies I've seen this summer so far. Can't wait for Em to come home again so I can go back and see something new!
love you!
K.
Nancy – I know you’re going to miss him. You’re such a great mom though, making his favorite meals and stuff before he goes. He’ll be back before you know it! Can’t wait to hear how Freak is. I’ll be getting that next.
ReplyDeleteDana – Best of luck with camp! I freaked about Kindergarten two years ago! It was hard. I kept saying to my husband, ‘how is he gonna know how to do anything?’ But he made it through just fine. Made me feel completely useless. Now he’s off to second grade this year! Crossing my fingers for you. You’ll do fine!
Michael – I hear that! I feel like editing takes longer sometimes than writing to begin with! Good luck!
Jeremy – Good for you! That sounds great and I bet a month isn’t so late compared to what they are used to! I’m waiting for Cabin to come out on DVD. No one in my family likes those movies but me!
Alex – Thank you! You too! I signed up for your blogfest! Always will give it a shot! I know you are hard at work on your book. I’m always amazed at how much you get done!
K. – Love you too! Sounds like your summer is going pretty well! I’m still working on your edits! They seem tougher this time. Maybe my brain is too soggy! I’m glad I’m not the only one to cry at the medal ceremonies. The husband teases me but I always think of the years of training and sacrifice they make to get there and watch their faces as it dawns on them that they have finally achieved their dreams. It’s wonderful.
Thanks for the visit everyone!

Yep, watched the Olympics. Missed the closing ceremony. Today is day two of WriteOnCon, so I'll be heading over there shortly.
ReplyDeleteChained to my computer promoting my novel, or that what it feels like. Trying to write, trying to read. Not doing a great job with multi-tasking. Sigh. But it's part of the journey, and with that view, I'm loving it all.
ReplyDeleteNice article, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreetings!
ReplyDeleteI'm hopping over from GUTGAA and wanted to start visiting some blogs early! Nice to meet you...you have a lovely blog!
