Anti-Blogfest Gary Fest!

Anti-Blogfest Gary Fest

A blog hop in honor of Mr. anti-blog hop himself, Gary at Klahanie.

Hosted by Mark “Madman” Koopmans, Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh, “Life is Good” Tina, Rockin’ Robyn Engel and Morgan “The Morg” Shamy.

The rules are *very* simple. Create the titles of three PG-13 rated blogfests you would never join - and then add a descriptive sentence or two.

Blogfests I would never join:

The "You Can Write Without Coffee" Blogfest.

No, I can't!

The "You're My Favorite Stalker" Blogfest.

The "Show Us What Your Cat Yakked Up" Blogfest!

Yeah, cause we all want to see that!

(No, this is not picture of mine. This is from my favorite cat site...My Cat Is A Dick).

Hope you enjoyed your blogfest Gary!

  1. Ha! Oh, nice choices! My daughter showed me that cat site--the cat repeatedly knocking off something from the desk.

  5. I've been struggling to cut down on my coffee intake. Total anti-coffee sounds a little insane...
    Stalkers? Regurgitating kitty? *shudders*

  6. Sorry...write without coffee? That's a thing? Surely not...

    I notice yakking's a trend in this hop. :-)

And AW! Thanks for the pre-cover-reveal-shout-out! That's, like, the AWESOMEST!!!

COINCIDENTALLY - though I bought Maguire's Corner around the time it came out, I only started reading it on my commute this morning. LOVE IT! It drew me in right away and I was ticked when my train pulled into the station and I had to stop after chapter 4. Wah! Looking forward to my ride home, though! :-)

  8. I was looking for the signup for the "Look what my cat yakked up" hop, until I remembered it wasn't real :)

  9. Give me a day or two and I could post for the cat barf fest. I'm sure one of my cats will ralph this week.

  10. I hate the way cats like to run as they yak, desperate to avoid your outstretched hands as you so desperately want the to stop vomming on the carpet.

Nothing like that 'Yurk, yurk, yurk!' sound at 3am coming from the end of the bed to have you sit bolt upright like someone just rammed a taser up your arse and pulled the trigger. Cat's look like they've been possessed when yakking - scary shit.

Coffee... take it or leave it. I'm not famous enough to have a stalker or crazy enough to be one... yet.

  11. You could also add "You Can Write Without Wine Blogfest. I'll definitely stay away from What The Cat Yakked Up Blogfest.

  12. Blllerrrrgh. The last one makes ME want to yak some stuff up, and I love cats (have 2). :D One thing I don't love about 'em is their spew!

Nice blogfest ideas ... to avoid. ;)

  13. I could do the coffee fest... I'm a tea drinker! One of our cats is a champion ralpher, but I wouldn't embarrass her by participating in your third fest. (as, um, "fascinating" as that might be...)

  15. Hart - That site is too funny! Thanks for coming by!

Jeremy - You are a man of many talents! Oh and...I stalk you, too!

Robyn - Thank you! My pleasure!

Alex - Must have MORE coffee!

michelle - Yeah, pretty frightening fests, right?

Mina - Yeah, yak was pretty popular! I'm so glad you're liking MC! Thank you and good luck with everything!

    Nancy - Sheesh, I hope not! :)

Mark - Ha! Maybe I'll have to start an actual one!

    L. Diane - You're pictures are so nice and artistic though!

Mark - Wow. You, sir, are a cat owner for sure! And remember, you don't need to be famous to be stalked! :)

Stephen - I really can't write and drink wine. I'd never get past the first glass. I'm a lightweight!

Trisha - You are not alone. None of us like that part about cats. :)

Susan - Fascinating. That was a nice way to put it!

Donna - Yeah, it's not the best part for sure!

Thanks so much for coming by everyone!

  17. Hahhaha!!!! I'm getting a kick out of the stalker one... that really is SO FUNNY to me... !!!

  18. Hey Heather,

Oh my goodness, finally I've arrived. Yay! :)

I tried writing without coffee. I also found myself slumped over my keyboard.

The stalker blogfest might just have me trying to find it, leave it comments, send it creepy love messages and then I thought, nah...

Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar was almost intrigued by the third one :)

Definitely all no no's. Then again, the thought of any blogfest makes me want to go sob uncontrollably in a darkened room.

    Thanks for the irony, Heather.

    Gary :)
