#LifeIsGood #WeMissYou #SunflowersForTina

I thought I was going to have to purchase a sunflower, because some rotten, four-footed, evil creature ate the sunflowers we had growing in a pot on the front porch.

Stupid rodent.

As I was passing my son's art wall I looked up and saw his sunflower picture that's been there for over a year.

I immediately knew that Tina would love this picture because it was drawn by a little boy for his mother.

Tina, I'm sharing this with you.

Tina's family has also set up the Downey Education Fund, which will go toward a college fund for Tina’s two boys.

  10. Omg your son's sunflower painting is a wonderful tribute to Tina!

What a thoughtful way to post a photo in her memory that honors the very essence of why she was dear to so many people...because she cannot be duplicated, just like the painting. There is only one and there is only one Tina Downey. How lovely of you to present something so perfectly fitting for this day!

  37. I think the thing I love most about this blog tribute that we've done to/for Tina is not only that it's so fun to learn more about her, but that each person's version of "her" flower is different. You are soooo right. She would love this one.
