#dejavu2015 - The Deja Vu Blogfest is here! The Deja Vu Blogfest is here!

No matter what, it's fun to go back through a year's worth of blog posts and read all the titles.

It really highlights what sort of weirdo I am.

But, today we want to talk about a post that I LOVE from 2015. A post I LOVE and want you to LOVE all over again.

In other words, its time for The Deja Vu Blogfest!!

DL Hammons: On December 18th thru 20th, anyone who decides to take part should re-post their favorite blog offering from earlier in the year, or one that you believe failed to receive the exposure it deserved. So please sign-up to participate with Mr. Linky below, then shout out to all of your blogging friends and encourage them to sign up as well.  Take the badge above and plaster it everywhere, blogging graffiti gone wild. Tweet about it (#dejavu2015) and post the picture on Instagram. Then on that weekend (December 18th-20th) as everyone hops from one blog to another, what they will be reading is the best of the best (as determined by you) from 2015.  The blogosphere will be chock full 2015 writing brilliance!  Encouragement, enlightenment, knowledge, bared souls, stimulation, hilarity, insecurities, success stories!  All on display…the very same day.  And it couldn't be any easier to take part...no writing necessary!

This was a pretty tough pick.

I thought about sharing my posts from the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, where I talk about The Re-Opening of The X-Files and ALL my X-Files memorabilia.

I thought about sharing the post where I RANT about Disney movies.

But, I decided to go with my May 18, 2015 post where I co-hosted the Blood, Boobs & Carnage Blogfest with the Ninja Captain himself, Alex J. Cavanaugh.

First, this theme is timeless. You know it and I know it.

Second, one of my picks for the blogfest happens to be my favorite Christmas movie: Die Hard.

It's the only one I watch.

Here's the post.

It's here! It's here! My very own Blogfest with Alex J. Cavanaugh! (He's so awesome!)

Let's get our Blood, Boobs & Carnage on!

Today, we post about a movie, television show, book, or all three that falls into the category of Blood, Boobs, and Carnage. (Or just Blood and Carnage or other mixture.)

It can be any genre that fits the bill – fantasy, science fiction, action, adventure, western, thriller, etc.

Post the badge and visit other participants.

I wanted to try and encompass all three in my choices, so here we go!

Movie
 "Die Hard"

I'm counting Man Boob in this one because we get to see Bruce Willis in just his bloody, ripped tank shirt for most of the film. And, who could forget those bloody feet!

TV

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

Although the original 1992 movie wasn't all that bloody, the television show certainly made up for that. BtVS ran for 7 glorious seasons with Blood, Boobs & Carnage. And, dust. Plenty of dust. :)

Books

"The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning"

Unghff.
Sorry. Had to clean up a little drool on my keyboard. These books. You should read these books. They've got it all. I've yet to find a more amazing alpha-male than Barrons.

Thank you for coming by today and please go visit some of the other participants and check out their picks!

Yep. Still love it.
Thanks for coming by today!
Make sure you check out the other participants HERE!

Have a great weekend.

The PIF Book List, a Blogfest, & a Cover Reveal for Stephanie Keyes!

The Pay It Forward Book List has been updated and it has 20 awesome entries, but I think we can do better than that.

Don't you?

Let's bulk this baby up so that right after Christmas, when people may have brand new and completely empty e-readers, we can suggest our favorite reads to fill them up with!

Also, to make it easier to find, it's been moved to the tab at the top of the page with the same name.

Clever, right? I thought so.

Please add your favorites in the comments of this post and send all your friends to check it out!

Excerpt
My feet touched the frozen ground. Singer slid off my back and hopped onto the grass beside me. I shifted back in an instant.
With a quick glance down, I straightened my tie. At least I never lost my clothes when I shifted. I had no friggin' clue where they went during the process, but I’d learned not to ask a lot of questions about Faerie-related things.
"At least your landings have gotten better." Singer smoothed out her hair. "I would have been pissed if you'd bucked me off, again."
Singer had done a header the first time I'd flown her. To be fair, I kind of didn't try for a good landing. Things were different now.
Taking her hand, I pulled her to me. "I won't let you fall again. Promise." She started to say something, but I didn't give her a chance. I opened my mouth against hers, tasting her, savoring the feel of her tongue against mine.
"Gabe." The way she whispered my name sent shivers crawling over my skin.
She bit my bottom lip and I groaned out loud. "You can't start doing stuff like this, Sing. Otherwise, we'll never make it inside." Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing? At least, I wouldn't have to meet her father.
Yet.
