Stormy lashed to the porch during the hurricane force winds. |
My husband has been to a zillion fire department calls since Monday but we're hoping they calm down soon.

I have joined the ranks of crazy writers for the National Novel Writing Month in November as HMGardner.
I don't expect to finish my book but I haven't been able to start the damn thing because I keep changing my mind about plots and characters and I'm not getting anywhere.
If I follow their rules and have to write a certain amount each day to hit a certain amount by the end of the month it just might spur me into a writing frenzy.
Then again, November is a really busy month and I might just have to scrap the whole damn thing.
At least I can say I tried.

Well, I need to go. I should think about outlining my story or figure out where to take my kid to Trick or Treating when Halloween has been postponed here.
Hope you all have a great Halloween/Samhain!
So glad you escaped relatively unscathed!
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Stormy survived!
ReplyDeleteNaNo always motivates me. I hate to lose.
So glad you and Stormy and the rest of the family came through the hurricane all right.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with NaNo... I'm like Alex. I hate to lose so usually the last two days of the month see me glued in front of the computer as I desperately try to think of enough words to get me limping across that 50k line.
I'm glad you made it through Sandy ok.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with NaNo. I'm sure once you find your stride you will do fine
i know once you get going, you'll fly past those word counts! good luck!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Stormy has quite the ride! I hope NaNo provides you with the motivation you need. And thanks again for having me over last week. It was fun! Happy writing!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you survived the hurricane! Good luck with nano!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you and Stormy are ok! Best wishes with NaNo, and belated trick-or-treating!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it thru the hurricane all right. My sister and her family are in NJ. They're OK, but struggling w/o power.

ReplyDeleteReally glad to hear that you are okay!! My sister is in Jersey, and another in PA, they got their power knocked out, but they're okay now too.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like you're doing as well with Nano as I am. haha. I'm still in the plotting stages but I've written next to nothing.
Thanks for all the love and great comments!
