#IWSG - Friendly Advice 5 Cents - The Friend is IN!

Alex says ... It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click HERE and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. I encourage everyone to visit at least a dozen new blogs and leave a comment. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs.

His awesome co-hosts today are Chemist Ken, Suzanne Sapseed, and Shannon Lawrence!

  2. Oooh I have to think about this . . . In the mean time: "Said that, she did." Hee hee hee. Love it! . . . Okay, let me complain about time. It runs away from me in the middle of work and being a mommy to 4 year old twins. I wanna write more but but but. Thats all. I need more time. Send me some? :D

    1. 4 year old twins! WOW!
I'm surprised you have time to do anything at all!
Having a nine year old I can tell you they become more and more self sufficient as they grow older. In the meantime, I will try to send you some extra minutes!
      Thanks for coming!

  4. I actually don't need to vent today. Weird.

    Love the Yoda pic.

  5. That is very generous of you. I did so much whining on my own blog this week I won't burden you with more.

  6. So far today I'm online, I have a quiet moment to visit blogs, and I don't have a headache. Just yesterday I was tearing out my hair. My eBook had developed a glitch and I couldn't figure out the trouble. Finally did last night before I fell into bed vowing to give up writing. All that is gone. Now I've vented. Feel so much better! Thanks.

  7. My only complaint right now is with all the snow. Of course, if the weather turned good I might stop writing and run outside. That's a bad thing!

    1. Ah, yes. The snow.
      I have some myself.
I'm ready for winter to be over!
I hear that Spring Ahead is this weekend!

  8. You won't believe my complaint....Thinking of all you folks in the snow and cold and ice. Don't throw rotten tomatoes at me now. We are in FL for the winter and the weather has turned HOT! Mid 80's today. Why are people never happy with the weather? Great idea for your post today. You are brave opening it up like that. I was anxious to read the comments and see what fired up folks. Not too much fire here....yet.

    1. Wow. Mid-80's in Florida?
But, is there humidity in March?
      If so, that sucks.

It's a good group of people who visit. Should be pretty tame. :)

  10. Most of my complaints for the day are over with the day job. But if you can magically make my coworker better so I can stop covering for him, that would be great.

  12. Love Yoda! That was perfect. You mentioned complaining. I usually don't but I guess I could say I'm really sick of all the snow we've been getting.

  15. Heather, what a lovely gesture, to open your blog space up to us readers for comments. Thanks! I'm having procrastination issues. Like blog hopping when I should be reading or writing. In an hour I hope to get cracking. That's my two cents.

    1. Stephanie,
Now, I do believe visiting blogs is a moral imperative. It give the brain a rest and you never know what you might see or read that could help you to write later!
      Thanks for coming!

  16. The only complaint I have today is that ever-popular "not enough hours in the day". But I'm guessing that's not one you can do much about.

    Have a good one.

My time-turner is on the fritz, but I will say that we Spring Ahead on Sunday! That could help all of us!

  18. How nice of you. I can only imagine just how much this notion has made someone's day. I'm not there at the moment, but I've been there, when all I want is something to listen to me vent. What a great act of kindness.
