Welcome to 2013 and the first Wednesday of the new year which makes it Alex J. Cavanaugh's Insecure Writer's Support Group posting day! Visit the above link to join or check out other participants!
So, what to post?
Should I post something uplifting?
Should I post about something insecure?
Should I post the winning lotto numbers?
Scratch that, you don't get those.
I stopped by a few blogs this morning and most people are talking about reflection and goal setting.
It's good to do that, I guess. For some.
I'm not big on setting goals so I don't have a lot to reflect on.
But, I would like to get further this year than last.
Does that qualify as a goal?
I'd like to write more.
I'd like to enjoy it.
I'd like others to enjoy it.
Then, I'd like to write some more.
So! Who's with me?
Let's all write more!
Let's all enjoy it!
Let's let others enjoy it!
AND...Let's write some more!
Happy New Year!
2013 is going to be better.
I'm with you!!
ReplyDeleteSure you're not sharing the winning numbers?
I want to write more too. I want less days of no writing. I got a lot done in 2012, but I had a lot of days of nothing.
ReplyDeleteI kinda want to fist pump the air and give you a chest bump. Let's do this thing! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! I want to write more too.
ReplyDeleteI'm on board! Enjoy (has the word joy in it) is the word for 2013! Happy New Year to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'll be writing right along side you :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent post. Happy New Year--I hope you accomplish much!!!
ReplyDeleteWriting more is always a good way to go. All the best for 2013.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I do want to write more and I do want to enjoy it more. Good plan!
ReplyDeleteCheers to writing more! My daughter's goal was to become "a skilled seamstress" LOL!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm with you! Let's do it!
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to write more. I do have some goals for this year but they're few and simple. Hopefully that means I'll accomplish them all.
ReplyDeleteWriting is the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you! I have all this marketing crap and all I want to do is write. I swear, once my kid goes back to school, I'm gonna focus on writing for at least 4 hours a day. But in the mean time, are you sure you don't want to share those numbers?
ReplyDeleteWriting is what it's all about and "stuff" keeping getting in the way and slowing me down. I'm trying to lessen the "stuff." But enjoying the process, too, is key!
ReplyDeleteI like to write, and I usually enjoy it. However, writing is hard. But building readership is harder yet.

I'm with you! I don't usually set goals, but I do want to finish book two and get it out there. It's time!

Hi Heather,
ReplyDeleteAh yes, write more, but without placing any pressure on ourselves. And I shall continue to interact with fine people such as yourself to encourage and support you as best I can. I am discreetly in the background supporting loads of bloggers, published and aspiring writers. That's what I do.
I hope I rock, Heather :) Wishing you much joy with your writing endeavours in 2013.
In kindness and goodwill,
Gary
