National Caffeine Awareness Month? What the ... ?

I thought they were kidding.

But, they're not.

It's National Caffeine Awareness Month. 

They have a website and everything.

I'm aware that I don't have enough caffeine.

I'm aware that my coffee cup is empty.

I'm aware that the coffee is the only thing keeping me from sleeping on the keyboard right now.

So, how will I celebrate this awareness? 

More coffee!!

    I feel more aware than EVER. Now, give me more of that hot, that sweet, that dark stuff I love!

    This sounds like my kind of place. Coffee is my beverage of choice, next to water. I like the taste, and usually prefer my own to outside sources. I don't drink the 'candied' types with tons of flavorings, just the good caffeinated dark rich lovely tasting brew. Can you tell the hint of coffee drew me to this blog. . .?

    I'm aware I don't like coffee. I know - a writer without coffee!! It's tea all the way for me... until about 5.30pm when it magically turns into wine ;-)

    Oh how this post makes me even sadder that my body seemingly has no tolerance for caffeine (beyond chocolate) anymore. Make me feel lightheaded and like I am going to pass out...not terribly productive. (sigh)

    I sure do not want to share this with my husband as he would eat drink and sleep coffee if he could. But my mom was the same way and there is worse things they could do. SO I grab my cup of coffee and toast you.
