It's not my fault. All these books showed up at once! I'm drowning in exciting literature!
Sitting on the side table right now...
Chasing Fire-Nora Roberts (about half way through and enjoying it...as usual)
A Discovery of Witches-Deborah Harkness (which is much bigger than I thought it was going to be)
Beyond the Highland Mist-Karen Marie Moning (and it's only the first in a long line of hot Scottish romance novels)
Waiting in the wings...
To Pleasure a Lady & To Bed a Beauty-Nicole Jordan (I'm half way through the first and it's all right but slightly long-winded)
Plus...
I have like 4 free novellas from Carina Press and 1 full length self-published book waiting on my computer to read.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
I'm really not that upset. It's really kind of awesome.
Some stuff I would like to pass along that you may or may not want to know about.

I've been holding off on sending my story anywhere until I complete the Angela James course that I will be starting on July 11th.
Since it's called Before you Hit Send I figure I will wait for the class to be finished before I send my stuff anywhere else.
Hope you all had an enjoyable 4th of July weekend. We did.
Any other blog stuff out there you guys want to share?
i too have more to read than time! (in the midst of 3 and a pile about a foot high waiting their turn)
ReplyDeletei saw that 777 blogfest and decided not to, no time, but i might read some.
and thx for the links, i'll check em out.
how did you find the course?
busy, busy, busy!
What a lovely dilemma to have!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a ton of books to read!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the Wheel of Time book!
ReplyDeleteSo many books and so little time!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was a reading machine this past weekend. My nook is totally loaded with goodness.
ReplyDeleteI took Angela's course. Lots of good stuff there too. I think you will like it.
I can never read more than one book at a time, lol. I get so absorbed and then get things twisted around.
ReplyDeleteTara - I follow Angela James on Twitter or her blog and I saw her announce it. The course is $35 right now but she plans to raise it next time. I plan to blog about it to let others know how it went.
ReplyDeleteKarenG - I know. Shame on me for complaining!
Alex - It's comforting actually. I feel better now that I'm reading again.
Ann - It's the truth! We just have to do the best we can.
Liz - I'm glad to hear that. I'm looking forward to her professional wisdom.
Stacy - I was much better at it a few years ago. Now 2 is all I can do at the same time.
Thanks for stopping in!
You covered them... at least for me.
ReplyDeleteOoh! You are going to love Beyond The Highland Mist, Very hot. I read all those books. Have fun resolving you dilemma!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
It's fine when that stack of books has been purchased. After all, you have all the time in the world to read them. My problem is that, having lost my job, I can now only afford to get books from the library. I often load up and put many books on hold knowing that it will take time to get most of them. Then all of a sudden, 6 books will come in all at once and I know I will never have enough time to read them all before they are due.
ReplyDeleteJeff - Thanks for coming by.
ReplyDeleteJessica - I have that feeling. I'll let you know about the Witches one. It's huge!
Nancy - I hear you. I work from home part time. The first 3 books were from the library. The second 2 books were being passed and the others were free. I rarely can afford to buy books myself.
Thanks for coming.
