Greed
The more white than black cat pitied its voluptuous twin, always begging for snacks. It was easier just to take what you wanted. What you needed. What you had to have. For example, if she wanted the pretty bowl that held her food, well, she took it. If she needed to own that fuzzy mouse they slipped through the bars for her to play with, well, she kept it. If she had to have the sparkly shiny bauble hanging off this lady’s sweater while she peeked into her cage, well, she’d have it … just a little closer … and she’d have it.

Mean kitty - that's why she's still in the cage.
ReplyDeleteSo every story is going to cover a different cat in the cages? These are lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteAlex - Conniving and a little mean! ;)
ReplyDeleteRosie - Yes. I thought cats were the purr-fect match for sins.

Greed is good.
ReplyDeleteI think you've just answered my question in the previous post. LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnother good one. Greed captured in words.
I love that not only are you doing all cats, but the cats are apparently all together. That is a sinful cattery indeed. Excellent job capturing not only the sin, but the cat and the personality behind it. Shiny.
ReplyDeleteTara - Thank you!
ReplyDeleteJeff - I completely agree.
Bryce - Cats beg and they have that guilt look down really well too!
David - Thank you. And if I didn't love you enough because of your awesome comments, I do even more because you said...Shiny.
