Too much for my little brain to handle.
Also too much for me to re-write so I will just post the handy links of the two places I saw everything today.
Alex J. Cavanaugh
Tara Tyler Talks
They have all the latest news on contests and blogfests and giveaways ... oh my!
The only one I'm really probably most likely to possibly think about doing is of course the 2012 A to Z Challenge which happens in April.
It really is a labor of love.
I'm thinking of going with a theme this year. I mostly just wrote by the seat of my pants last year.
I'm debating working with Stormy the Weather Gnome for the challenge. If you are unfamiliar with Stormy please check him out here.
Although, Stormy had a little accident and broke his foot in the fall. Not in a fall but in the fall. He did fall but it was in the fall. And he broke his foot.
So, I guess I will have to do some Gorilla Glue surgery for him if I want to use him in April.
I guess I could also use my cats as a theme. That might get boring after awhile. They actually don't do very much.
Well. I have some time to think about it.
Any of you thinking about it?
Sign up starts at the end of this month!
I saw Alex's post and my brain sort of fried a little bit too LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning my post today - and that I overloaded some brain cells!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of your theme, Heather. You could really have fun with it. Photos to accompany your posts - awesome!
Yes, yes. I like the weather gnome - no offense to your cats. P.S. put a bandaid on Stormy so he can show off his wounds!
ReplyDeleteHi, Heather ...
ReplyDeleteI met you on the A-Z ... It nearly killed me. LOL.
I am still debating whether to do it again. I did get some wonderful new friends AND I had written so wonderful fantasy prose. SO it was a fantastic experience.
I remember that you live in NY. Do you live in or by the city? I am always happy to meet blogger friends in my travels, and I will be in the city at the end of this month. I am going to the SCBWI writer's conference.... scary. But since I write m/g and y/a it's perfect for me.
I'll be in the city for a few weeks. Let me know.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I think I'm doing the A to Z again this year. I've got a theme in mind, but I'm going to really have to get myself organized ahead of time...not my strong suit. I'm a seat-of-the pants girl in all things. :)
ReplyDeletei would love a stormy themed a to z from you this year! awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteand thx for the ref =)
KarenG - I know, right! It's busy out there!
ReplyDeleteAlex - Oh, photos of course! Stormy is so photogenic!
Wendy - That's not a bad idea! Perhaps he needs a tourniquet!
Michael - You have to do it! It's a moral imperative! I'll send you an email.
L.G. - I hear that. I had a page full of ideas last year and the rest I just made up!
Tara - NP. Thanks for the info. I'm glad Stormy is getting such a nice reception. I'll have to ponder what exactly to do.
Thanks for stopping in everyone.
