Dumb question day!

How are you?
Good here, thanks for asking.

So, sometimes I have dumb questions and no one to ask.

This is where you come in. :)

I'm going to ask you the dumb questions.

Ready? Here goes...

--
Do you drink tea when you're sick?

Cold pizza is popular in my neck of the woods, but do you ever eat cold leftover chinese food out of the fridge?

Do you clean the roof of your car of snow before you drive?

Do you still buy lottery tickets?

If you could afford to have more/any pets, how many would you have and what kind?
--

Believe it or not, these questions are all from this week.

I really need to turn off my brain sometimes.

Thanks for playing!

  1. I personally don't drink tea. I did when I was in Russia, though, because I didn't want to be rude.

Yes, I have eaten cold Chinese food right out of the fridge (after I had set my microwave on fire trying to warm it up the time before...)

Yes, I do clean off the roof of my care before I drive. Well, at least as much as I can reach. It's an SUV, and I am short.

I only buy lottery tickets for other people, usually for stocking stuffers.

I'd have more dogs if my significant other wouldn't kick me out for it. But apparently, two is his limit.

    What's dumb about these questions?

  2. Heather!
    I don't drink tea.
Yes, I have eaten cold Chinese, although prefer to warm it up.
    What snow? Doesn't matter - I have a garage.
    Never purchased a lottery ticket.
And I'll take a Golden Retriever.

I love those dogs! So beautiful and loyal!

  3. Okay, I'll pla along. I sip Coke when I'm sick or Sprite if I've got a stomach virus. We don't have take out Chinese here, but I do love me a cold fried chicken leg. If it snows here, we don't go anywhere. We only get snow ever few years and no one knows how to drive in it. Very dangerous to get out there with them. I've never played the lottery. In fact I voted against it in the state of Texas. Think it was a sorry, shameful da when it passed. And I'm living for the day when we have no animals.

    2. Not boring. I just didn't ask you the right kind of questions yet!
You need questions that don't have a yes or a no. The ones you have to answer.
      Like...what's your favorite food?

  5. I had a dog when I was growing up, and it broke my heart when she died of old age. So I've always wanted to adopt another dog, this time from an animal shelter (the first one was from a breeder). I don't have much money, but one reason I know that I would make a good dog owner is because I wouldn't leave the pet alone for too long and I would give my dog plenty of love and attention. But the apartment buildings I've lived in never allowed any dogs because they say they're too loud and messy, though apparently they have no problem with letting humans who are even louder and messier live there (I guess it's because the human tenants pay rent).

    1. I haven't had a dog since I was a kid. I do miss them so much, but I also know they are a lot of work. Cats...easy.

      TY!

  6. Oooh fun!
I love tea when I'm sick! Especially chamomile.
    Never had cold Chinese food.
I always clean off the top of my car because once when I was little my mom hadn't and all of the snow fell right on the windshield while she was driving. Luckily we lived on a pretty deserted road, but I would never want that happening to me on a busy road!
I buy scratch tickets every now and then.
I think it's less about money and more about my cat not being able to put up with any other pets. Well, that and I have no space. But I'd love to have more cats and some dogs.

  7. Huh, interesting questions...

    I seldom drink tea.
Nix on the cold Chinese food.
No to cleaning the snow off the roof my car - am I supposed to?
*sigh* Yes, I sometimes buy lottery tickets. I know, I know, it;s a chance in hell.
If I could afford a big place with lots of land and the vet bills, I'd have more cats and dogs. At least two dogs and however many cats could live tolerably together. Maybe some chickens...

    fun :)

Chickens? They are cute, but their poop smells bad!

  8. Interesting!
    I don't drink tea ever.
I don't like Chinese food hot or cold.
I clean my car off completely bumper to bumper. It annoys me when people don't.
I buy lottery tickets once every blue moon when I have a dream that tells me to do so.
I don't have any pets at the moment, but if we could afford it, we'd have a couple of cats.

    Hope you're having a good week! :)

  9. When I lived in Michigan I would clear the snow off the roof of my car. Must be the OCD kicking in.

  10. Living in New England it is a must to clean the snow off the roof! I do eat cold pizza but never cold Chinese. Also, I have a cat and dog....and we foster kittens/pregnant cats so I am set there. I have bought two lottery tickets, won $0 but on a scratch someone gave me I won $10! Tea:I drink it when I have a sore throat!
    Fun questions:-)

Foster kittens? I'd never want them to leave!
Yeah, I do the tea w/ the sore throat too!

      Thanks for coming by!

  11. No on the tea. Hot cocoa or bust!
I always reheat any kind of takeout.
    I don't drive.
My relatives buy lottery tickets, but I don't.
My apartment doesn't allow pets which saddens me. I grew up having many pets. I love dogs, cats, birds, and turtles.

  12. I love cold pizza! But, I don't really eat any other leftovers cold...yuck! As far as pets go, we're discussing getting our first one...a dog. Probably after I'm all healed up from surgery, so springtime. The biggest problem is that my daughter wants a pit bull, while me and my son want a little bichon mix...opposite ends of the spectrum! And husband is up for any dog that resembles a horse...oy!

Maybe you could get a service dog to help you around the house!

  13. Sorry bout the late post, but I'm playing catch-up this weekend:

I like mint or honey lemon tea when I am sick.
Love cold pizza, and I don't know what it is about egg fu young but I can always eat that cold... or sweet and sour... the rest I usually heat up.
When I lived in snowy areas, I usually cleaned off my car entirely except for the hood... I had a perverse pleasure in seeing it fall off in one big hunk as the engine warmed up.
Haven't bought a lottery ticket in years, but I love scratching them....
When my husband finally decides to let me have some goats and a horse, I'll finally have my menagerie...!!

  14. Hi, Heather!
I drink tea when I'm well. I drink tea when I'm sick. My favorites are chai tea and dandelion root tea.
Cold pizza is okay, but I do like to eat most Chinese leftovers cold.
I very rarely drive in the winter, so I don't have to really worry about clearing off the car.
Yes, I still buy lottery tickets.
We are a one pet family. We have a cute cockier spaniel named Bentley.
