I'm visiting my daughter in Fulton Maryland in a weekish. She's warning me of the heat! It 70s here in CA.

I'm in Jersey, and I'm feeling it. When we walked out of the house yesterday at noon, it was like walking into an oven! 100+ real-feel. I'll take frostbite AC over scorching summer heat any day. Unless I'm at the pool...

Ugh, yes. This heatwave can go now. The thing with NYC is, it's hot, humid, muggy and then there's a layer of extra heat because of the concrete. And the subway is an oven.

After a freezing Midwestern winter, the overwhelming heat is almost a relief. I just like being able to walk around without several layers of clothes, especially because the freezing cold will be back soon enough.
