And a one, and a two, and a ...

WHAT'S UP????????

Only one post last week? What's with that? That's no way to treat my wonderful blog peeps!

Here's whats doin'!

Stormy the Weather Gnome has made his triumphant return from the glue farm and reported on the weather all weekend long or at least three times. In case you missed it you can check him (and me) out of Facebook!

Last week was filled with 'paid' work and 'unpaid' work. I did do some editing on Maguire's Corner and I think I made a tiny dent. Let's just say the creative juices have begun to flow and I'm not going to over think it.

Although I should have been editing more, on Sunday I decided to read a book while watching the AFC and NFC Championship games.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Tawna Fenske's book Making Waves. I left my review on Goodreads if you are interested.

But the best news was that the Giants beat the 49ers in OT and are going to the Super Bowl!! Woo and a Hoo!

As for the other game, I was rooting for the Ravens, mostly because of Ray Rice from Rutger's University, but the Patriots prevailed.

I know what I'm doing on February 5th. SUPER BOWL SUNDAY! How about you?

  1. I never miss the Super Bowl! And sorry, not a Ravens fan, so was glad the Patriots won. As for the other game, I was beginning to wonder if either team wanted to win. Thought they still might be playing by the time the Super Bowl rolled around.

  2. Did you see Ray's face at the end of the game? He looked like he couldn't believe what just happened - of course, neither could anyone else....a 32 yd. fg....missed!! But, it should not have even been a fg attempt - should have been a PAT....dropped ball in the end zone put them 4th and a little bit. Boooooo! Anyway - looking forward to watching my G-men in the big game! At least this year there is a reason to stay up and watch.

Keep going on Maguire's Corner! Can't wait to read more!!!!!!! Has your new paperweight been bringing the mojo for you? :-D

    Love you!

  5. I love Tawna's blog. I'm sure the book was hilarious!

I probably won't be watching the Super Bowl, though...maybe making cookies? Sundays are good for that.

  6. Bring on those commercials! I don't have a dog in the hunt...so that's all I have to look forward to. Maybe I'll write something instead. :)

  7. Alex - I was never a Ravens fan before! Still watch more college than pro but I have to root for the Giants. It's the law.

    K. - I know. Hard lesson. But how great did he do all season! He is a great player and has many more years. I am using my new pen to edit the printed pages and my new paperweight to hold them down. Thank you so much for enabling me! L. U. 2.

Tara - Thank you. I will if you will.

David - Thanks for having such a great blog! And welcome.

Shallee - Cookies are good. Always good. They have those on the Dark Side you know!

    Thanks for coming.

Writing might be the best idea though!

  9. We don't get to see all the really, really good commercials here in Canada, our own sponsors have to sell their stuff too. But I watch enough american tv to catch some on the entertainment shows.
