Just a little more....

I had dinner out last night.

My husband loves Sushi. Bleh.

My son and I like Chinese food. YEAH!

We go to a great restaurant that serves both.

My son loves sweet & sour chicken. Mostly because they serve the fried chicken pieces and the sauce separately.

Wondering where I'm going with this aren't you.

About three in the morning I was regretting picking off my son's plate.

Holy agida!

I suppose it could have been the giant amount of broccoli I ate.

Either way I was awake.

Still wondering?

About two hours later I was ready to go back to sleep.

And I had a dream about my Maguire's Corner story.

I had a dream about writing.

As far as I'm concerned that is one step away from actual writing.

I haven't even thought of that story in weeks, much to the disappointment of one of my favorite editors.

But I could see it in my head when I woke up and I remembered what I had been dreaming.

It was pretty damn cool!

That tiny flutter from the other day has turned into more of wobble of excitement.

I'll try just a little more chocolate as an incentive.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Anyone else getting that wobbly feeling lately?

  4. I hate when the food I eat bites back in the night. Like Alex said, just walk to the computer, telling yourself you are just going to write one sentence. And if that all you do, fine. But most times you will end up writing more. Do that each day. As Ernest Hemingway wrote, "Writers write. Dreamers dream. Which do you want to be?" Old Ernest was a tad harsh sometimes!

Thanks for becoming my 1000 follower for a time, before someone left my list! Have a great weekend, Roland

  5. Alex - I should have but I wasn't home all day.

Tara - I had to look up margarita to know if you were wrong or not! Tequila and I do not get along. There was a Tequila jello incident that was horrifying and yet very colorful.

    K. - Don't you mean hello Jack?

Roland - Hello! You and Alex are right. I should have sat down today and done it. Maybe later tonight!
Glad to be your 1000th follower. I know I was on there before. Not sure how I fell off. Glad to be back.

    Thanks for coming by!

  6. Wow, I'm not the only one who comes up with story ideas as soon as my head hits the pillow! Good luck with the writing!!! I know that if I don't write it down fast, it slips away from me! :) Oh, and my fingers are crossed :D
