Wednesday Movie Quote and I need a cyber-smack!

Oh, Alex J. Cavanaugh, you sure know how to make a girl feel guilty. :)

I just had to post a Wednesday Movie Quote!

Especially when you said we could pick any movie we wanted!

Today's genre: Free-For-All!

The X-Files: Fight the Future

Mulder: "I'm the key figure in an on-going government charade, the plot to conceal the truth about the existence of extraterrestrials. It's a global conspiracy, actually, with key players in the highest levels of power, that reaches down into the lives of every man, woman, and child on this planet. (laughs) So, of course, no one believes me. I'm an annoyance to my superiors, a joke to my peers. They call me Spooky. Spooky Mulder, whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was just a kid and who now chases after little green men with a badge and a gun, shouting to the heavens or to anyone who will listen that the fix is in, that the sky is falling and when it hits it's gonna be the shit-storm of all time."

Some of the best dialogue I've ever heard was on The X-Files. Always smart and funny. The X-Files was considered a TV drama but it was really too funny for that.

The Wednesday Movie Quote is going on a short hiatus. Stay tuned.

As for the much needed cyber-smack!

I'm faking it.

I'm opening my book, I'm reading my book, I'm changing small things in my book.

What I'm not doing is WRITING in my book.

I've completely psyched myself out of writing book two.

All around me people are writing and submitting and publishing and writing and I just stare at the pages.

This is what I really need.

So, can you all just give me a virtual smack across the face so I can get back to writing?

Please?

Thank you.

P.S.: If you didn't get a chance to read yesterday's post about the 'FIVE things you should know about RIGHT now!' then go HERE!

4. The 13th Floor Series
by

The Final Book

The Ghost

Chiharo Black lives with six supernatural tenants in a haunted building's mysterious thirteenth floor. Of course, no one knows she's there except the cats. Being a ghost can be a bit frustrating and lonely, but it isn't as bad as her mother made it out to be.

Until another ghost intrudes on her territory. Jeremy Emerson wants revenge on the vampire that killed him and won't stop until he has it. To top it off, a nightmarish shade sneaks in and leeches the energy from the building's residents before setting its sights on Chiharo and the thirteenth floor. She can't decide which one is more frightening: the one wanting to eat her soul or the one who might win her heart.

Chiharo must convince Jeremy to stand with her against the hellish parasite. If they cannot work together, the greedy fiend will not only drain their energy but everything that supports the thirteenth floor's existence.

Available here: Amazon.

Christine's book tour stops her on July 17, 2013!

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! TARA TYLER'S POP TRAVEL IS OUT TODAY!

In 2080, technology has gone too far for J. L. Cooper. He is happily hidden in his simple, secluded life as a private detective in a small town, far from any pop travel laser teleportation stations. Until he takes on a client who insists pop travel made his fiancé disappear.

When Cooper investigates, he finds evidence of pop travel's deadly flaw, sparking a series of murders, attempts on his life, and threats to his brother. He’d like to pass off the evidence but knows he’s being watched and can’t trust anyone. And who would believe him?

The only way he can save his brother is to fool his observers while looking for a way to expose the problem. He decides to go to the source and confront the Creator of pop travel. On his way, Cooper meets Southern siren, Geri Harper (an undercover FBI agent) who tags along despite his protests. When they reach the Creator, he has plans of his own and leads them on a wild detour.

So happy for you Tara!
Enjoy every moment of your release day!

Today's genre: Water Movies

Sphere. (Honestly, this movie, SUCKED, but the book, the book was awesome. You should read it.)

Norman Goodman: I would be happy if Jerry had no emotions whatsoever. Because the thing of it is once you go down that road... here's Jerry, an emotional being cooped up for 300 years with no one to talk to... none of the socialization, the emotional growth that comes from contact with other emotional beings...
Harry: So...?
Norman Goodman: What happens if Jerry gets mad?

Carnival is over. I may have mushrooms growing between my toes. We had rain just about every night. It's supposed to rain again all this week, too. Fun.

I need to get back to writing this week.

I have some hand written pages in my notebook that need to be typed into the computer. I was watching my husband play softball when inspiration struck.

My heart, hardly mended from the last tragedy, now breaks again for the 19 firefighters that lost their lives fighting a wildfire in Arizona. My heart aches for their families that will have to forge on without them.
