A really bad pirate joke and S.K. Anthony's new release...Static.

Had a little too much fun this weekend. My liver is SO unhappy. I actually took a nap on Sunday and if you knew me, you would know how unusual that is.

On the bright side, I did catch up to The X-Files re-watch! YAY! Hopefully I can stay caught up. :)

Did you talk like a pirate on Saturday? It was International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

My favorite pirate joke...
What is the pirate's favorite letter?

I have S.K. Anthony's new release in her Luminaries series today! Best of luck to you!

Genre: Urban Fantasy
Series: The Luminaries #2
Release Date: September 17 2015

Kevin Pierce is a teleporter, a ladies’ man, and a loyal friend . . . or so he thought.

As a genetically altered Luminary, he helps the government bring down some of the most dangerous criminals. Not very challenging if you have his special abilities. But when a group of rebel Luminaries attacks his Organization the fight for survival begins.

One shattering event after another tests the depth of his relationships, his sanity, and his powers. Emotionally torn, Kevin must choose carefully where his loyalty lies. In the middle of all the unexpected chaos he gets the biggest shock of his life when he’s faced by a betrayal he never saw coming. Angry, injured, and ready to even the score, Kevin goes Static . . .

Being strong is one thing. Being an unlimited source of power is quite another.
Genetically altered by the Organization, Annie Fox takes down criminals CIA-style with her luminary strength. With nothing to mend but her broken heart, she is relentlessly pursued by her boss Derek Lake. Just when Annie is about to give him a chance, her ex-husband unexpectedly comes out of hiding.A wanted man, Nick Logan is a cold-hearted murderer who is considered enemy number one, and orders are clear: kill on contact. He is more powerful than ever and threatens the lives of those she holds most dear. His plan? Get his hands on Annie and use her Kinetic energy to destroy them all. When Annie finds herself with an opportunity to end him, she pauses, horrified by the scars covering the face she once loved. A split second that will cost her everything...

What is the pirate's favorite letter?

You think it would be R, but 'tis the C they love!

So bad. I know.

Hope you have a great week! Come back on Wednesday for Alyse Miller's new release...The Acorn Tattoo.

  2. Hahahahahah
Okay, I thought that was hilarious!!! I'll catch a grip, I will, I will . . . but let me laugh a little longer first :P

Thank you for helping me share Static's release!!! You ROCK <3

  3. Great post Heather , too much enjoyment at the week-end? Hope your liver will start to enjoy working properly again soon.

  4. Congrats to SK! Love that cover. And yeah, that is a bad joke. I watched some X-Files on the weekend too. I just realized my hair is the perfect length that I can be Scully for Halloween this year!

  5. Sometimes the bad jokes are the best. Congratz S the book looks great.

  6. Congrats to SK. Naps are healthy though maybe the reason you need one isn't. I was home alone on Saturday and forgot to talk like a pirate to myself.

  7. I would so not trust a guy who could teleport out of my life whenever it suited him. Guess I'll have to find out how his relationships sort themselves out!

Missed any pirate conversations, but I did take care of a parrot. Does that count?

  8. I missed Talk Like A Pirate Day. And I was even in a boat on Saturday.

    Congrats to S.K.

  9. I saw people post about Talk Like A Pirate day but I didn't do anything about it. Maybe next year I'll remember.

Congrats to SK. She was on my blog last week. Love the cover.

  10. Aw, cute joke.

I completely forgot about Talk Like a Pirate Day (but not about S.K. Anthony's book, because it's been everywhere). :)

Hope you're feeling better now. Hangovers suck.

  11. Static sounds great! Congrats to S.K. Best of luck with it!
