#atozchallenge Stormy's Epic Adventurous Quest Journey - C

My Letter C for the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is below, but first ...

A Cover Reveal for M.S. Kaye!

by M.S. Kaye

Her first and also her Once.
Jonathan is studying to become a priest. He is three days from taking vows. He will not be a priest.
Rebecca’s major is pre-law. She is supposed to take over her father’s law firm. She will not be lawyer.
Their paths cross at exactly the right moment, when each most needs to hear what the other has to say. Jonathan’s structured life is turned sideways, but Rebecca also helps him learn how to forgive himself. It was self-defense, not murder.
Rebecca finds the strength to stand up to her father, to be the real her. If Jonathan likes her writing, it must be worth pursuing.
They must each struggle to forge a new path without each other’s comfort and strength, with only memories of the one day that changed everything.

Will be released 7/2/16 by Inkspell Publishing.

Stormy the Weather Gnome, and friends, star in this action-filled docudrama detailing Stormy's quest to find the cure to his ... predicament.

"COWABUNGA! What was that?"

 "Up here!"

"Holy Creepy Spider! Are you talking to me?"

"I couldn't help but listen in, I mean, overhear your conversation. I might know a guy who can, you know, help you."

"You want to help me?"

"Not really, but I think we can help each other."

"How can I possibly help you, Holy Creepy Spider?"

"I need..." *looks left, then right* "Socks. Eight socks."

"Look! You don't need to know the details. I need socks and you need a miracle! Do you want my help or not?"

 *Blink.* *Blink.*

Will Stormy help Holy Creepy Spider or remain broken forever?
Stay tuned!

  1. Ah, creepy spider wants eight socks. Must be a cold hard winter. Tension builds as the reader wonders if creepy spider can put Stormy back together again! I have an idea how he might do it; will be back for more.

  4. Intriguing cover image for M.S.'s book. Nice! All the luck in the world...

Yeah, pretty creepy. I honestly don't think I could have put that eight-legged bugger together. #yucky

What a tangled web you weave, Stormy!

  7. Good Luck Stormy, the same thing happened to my feet once and now I get about fine.

  8. Love the cover. Congrats, M.S.!

And I love the intrigue brewing here in Stormy's adventure. Like Alex said, check the dryer!

  9. Sure, help the spider. Remember the fable about the lion and the mouse? Maybe Spidey can spin a web around you and your feet, Stormy.

    The book looks terrific.

  10. Interesting cover for ONCE. Looks a bit like a cover for a dystopian novel, I'm afraid.

  11. Sure, help the spider! I'm sure Stormy can steal, err--find some socks!

  12. Not spiders!!! I could probably help on the sock front as I've just been sorting the clothes left by both of my children on their latest fly-by-visit and have found more than enough odd socks for that spider - why oh why can't they pair them up?

  13. Cliffhanger alert! I'm not sure I could spare eight socks! I really want to know if those socks all match. Glenda from

  14. Why do socks always get lost when doing the laundry?
    Great post Heather,

  15. I'd donate eight socks to help Stormy out if I had that many to give. Alas I do not.

  16. How come only one half of a pair of socks get lost in the laundry? I am so intrigued with the cover reveal for M.S. Kaye's Once. I'm hooked. He will not become a priest. She will not become a lawyer. It is so well written, full of suspense. The perfect combination of romance and suspense and I'm dying to read it.

  17. Making deals with creepy spiders now? kids and I are all following along with Stormy's adventures...they loved the funeral pyre suggestion from last post! haha!

  18. That's quite the spider!

You're making me wish I didn't have to uphold the "Queen of Creepy" title. Your posts are so much fun.

  19. Can't even imagine how long these take. Lovely!

  20. Congrats on Once, the cover is intriguing. I like it and the story line, even more intriguing. I'll be watching for the release. @sheilamgood at Cow Pasture Chronicles

  21. The cover of Once is fabulous! Sounds like a great read.

And love the gnome and Holy Creepy Spider. My favorite part: Blink blink. Lol! Loved that!

  24. OK I will have to come back to see what the Spider does and if he gets his socks. But as for the book I loved the cover and now I want to make sure I order it so I can see what happens as it sounds interesting and would keep me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens.

  25. Helping spiders, tsk-tsk. The cover and blurb are intriguing. Good luck with the rest of the challenge.

  26. That is a gorgeous cover, so evocative!

I really hope Stormy will help the spider. Looks like they will get better off from the bergain, both of them ;-)
