Auntie Em, Aunti Em...it's a snowstorm in the winter!

We're having a snow day!

Anyone want to come over?

I didn't think so. :)

Stormy the Weather Gnome will be hard at work today posting on Facebook if you want to come and visit!

Depending on what weather report you are watching we could see a few inches of snow to twenty inches of snow.

It's going to be a hoot either way.

Other stuff going on....

The Blogging from A to Z team needs some help! If you would like to volunteer as a minion head over HERE.

Tara from Tara Tyler Talks awarded me the Liebster Award. Thank you, Miss Tara! That was sweet of you to think of me.

I actually recieved this award back in 2011. The rules then were to thank the person who gave it to you and share it with five others. It's gotten a lot more complicated.

  • paste the award badge to your blog,
  • give us 11 random facts about yourself,
  • answer the 11 questions,
  • and choose your nominees

Yikes.

I'm just not that interesting, folks. But, feel free to take it and bestow it upon your blog friends and neighbors.

I'm off now to spread Stormy's love and wisdom. Stay warm.

  1. Thank you, Heather!!! Appreciate the shout-out for my cover release. I can't wait to see it.
I read the New England area could see thirty inches of snow. That's a lot!

  2. Stormy might want to stay inside for this storm. You'd never find him again.

  3. There's a storm here, too—and I have a horrible craving for chocolate with none in the house and roads that are too icy to travel. Can Stormy help? ;)

    Enjoy your day!

  5. I saw Stormy on Facebook earlier today and advised him to visit the Traveling Gnome and head south.

  6. Well, maybe you're not that interesting (which I doubt!) but what about Stormy, or his new sidekick? And oh boy don't I wish I could head south instead of enduring yet more winter. Sanibel would be nice about now. *sigh*

  7. Hi Heather,

I shall check out Stormy on 'Farcebook'. My wee folks just love Stormy! :)

I'm happy to give a shout-out for links. Although, the A to Z folks know where I stand with that. I shall continue to satirise the darned thing!

And that snow seems to be heading to 'Old England'. Congrats on receiving that 'lobster' award or whatever it's called...

    Have fun and stay warm.

  8. Alex – You are so welcome! We are all excited for you. Luckily I live in the bottom of NY and we shouldn’t see that many inches. I hope!

    L. Diane – Stormy has had a rough day. I’ll probably post some picks next week on the blog.

Dana – So sorry. Stormy can’t drive! I would send chocolate telepathically if I could. : )

Tara – Stormy does not have a page. I think I would be upset if he got more friends than me. : (

Stephen – Yes, that was an excellent idea. Too bad we didn’t take your advice.

mshatch – Stormy and Sparks are pretty interesting. I’ll have to see. Thanks!

Klahanie – Thanks. You stay warm too.
