*Under Construction* What's coming up this week? (Hint: #IWSG!)

It's time. Every now and then I feel it's necessary to change the look of my blog. Give it a makeover. You know, make it shiny!

I'll be trying a few new looks this week until I find the one I like, so please excuse the mess, and I'm sorry for any confusion this might cause. :)

Happy New Year!

JANUARY 4, 2016!!!

Have you joined this amazing group yet?

The Insecure Writer’s Support Group

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!
Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time. Be sure to link to this page and display the badge in your post.
Let’s rock the neurotic writing world!
Our Twitter is @TheIWSG and hashtag #IWSG
And we’re revving up IWSG Day to make it more fun and interactive! Every month, we'll announce a question that members can answer in their IWSG Day post. These questions may prompt you to share advice, insight, a personal experience or story. Include your answer to the question in your IWSG post or let it inspire your post if you are struggling with something to say. Remember, the question is optional!!!
January 4 Question: What writing rule do you wish you’d never heard?
My awesome co-hosts for the January 4 posting of the IWSG will be Eva @ Lillicasplace, Crystal Collier, Sheena-kay Graham, Chemist Ken, LG Keltner, and Heather Gardner!

Thanks for reminding me about IWSG. I would have forgotten otherwise.

  4. I haven't changed up the look of my blog since I started it. I think about doing it every once in a while, and then forget. Love the beach background you have here today.

    Happy New Year!

  7. Revamping a blog is hard work. And tricky enough to scare me away from trying it. Good luck with the makeover!

  8. Rules are a challenge for me, too. I like to think of them as guidelines. I sleep better. Blessings

  9. Egads, too many rules, you're right! Readers are still mad at me for ending one of my books with a cliffhanger. But the characters MADE me do it, I swear.
