E. #AtoZChallenge - The re-opening of The X-Files

My 2015 Blogging from A to Z April Challenge theme is The re-opening of The X-Files. I'm not going to reiterate the known facts about the show, but share with you how it ruled my life for 9 seasons and beyond.

E = EXPO

EXPO materials, badges, map/itinerary, advertising, evidence bag. (Notice they gave out 3.5 Floppy Disks & AOL CD)

BOB, the Alien

I attended this EXPO with my husband (boyfriend at the time). We received VIP passes from a friend. We were treated like ROYALTY that day. Bypassed the line. VIP lounge. VIP snacks! VIP T-shirts. It was an awesome freakin' day. (No, neither DD nor GA were at the EXPO.)

~~X~~

Special Agent Stormy the Weather Gnome here.
When you get bored of listening to her drivel about her favorite TV show, make sure you drop down to the bottom of the posts to see me. I'm sharing funny quotes from the show.

Episode: Red Museum
Mulder: You know, for a holy man, you've got quite a knack for pissing people off.

  1. Looks like fun. There's nothing like sharing a room with many other people who are all passionate about the same thing as you. Never short of things to talk about!

    Floppy disc. That is hilarious. I don't even have a machine that would work with now.

  4. I loved this show for the first couple of seasons and then drifted away. I wonder if it will ever come to Netflix? Good to see Stormy again.

  10. This is too cool!

    Sadly, I have a whole box of worthless floppy discs that probably have things on theme that I wanted to keep...

    Thanks! Glad you're in the A-to-Z!

  13. I am so looking forward to this - I was the biggest fan! Oh..and Mulder. In fact, I had a little picture of him blu-tacked to the wall by my chair in the sitting room. I have a very understanding husband... *drools slightly over keyboard*

  14. I've never been to an X-Files expo, but I loved the less specialised expos which I've attended so this sounds great!
